1. Introduction

This Payment Policy governs all payments made to Love & Mercy Travel Sdn Bhd (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a licensed travel agency operating in accordance with the Tourism Industry Act 1992 and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC).

By making a booking or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Payment Policy.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

  • Online Bank Transfer / FPX (Malaysia local banks)
  • Credit or Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard – subject to gateway approval)
  • E-Wallets (subject to availability)
  • Cash payments (at authorised Company office only)
  • International bank transfers (applicable bank charges apply)

All payments shall be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.

3. Booking Deposit & Settlement

  • A deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
  • The deposit amount and payment schedule will be specified in the official quotation or invoice.
  • Full payment must be settled within the timeframe stated in the invoice.
  • For last-minute bookings, full payment may be required immediately.

Failure to make payment within the stipulated period may result in automatic cancellation without prior notice.

4. Payment Confirmation

Customers are required to provide proof of payment by:

5. Currency, Taxes & Charges

  • Prices quoted are exclusive of bank charges unless stated otherwise.
  • Any foreign exchange differences, transaction fees, or bank charges shall be borne by the customer.
  • Government taxes, surcharges, or supplier-imposed fees are payable by the customer.

6. Late, Failed or Reversed Payments

The Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel bookings in the event of failed, delayed, or reversed payments.

  • Bookings reinstated after cancellation are subject to availability and revised pricing.
  • The Company shall not be responsible for losses arising from delayed payment.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the terms and conditions of airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other service providers.

Refund processing time may take 14 to 30 working days, depending on the payment method and banking procedures.

8. Fraud Prevention

For security and compliance purposes, the Company reserves the right to request additional verification documents. Any suspected fraudulent activity may result in cancellation and reporting to the relevant authorities.

9. Invoice & Documentation

Official invoices and receipts will be issued under the registered business name Love & Mercy Travel Sdn Bhd. All charges will be clearly stated.

10. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend this Payment Policy at any time. The latest version will be published on the Company’s website and shall take effect immediately.
